According to official sources, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel killed three front ranking commanders of the Al Badr Mujahideen in Tral area, south Kashmir, on December 23. Based on specific information, BSF personnel launched a cordon-and-search operation in the upper Tral jungle area of Kamla. In the ensuing encounter, three Al Badr commanders were killed.
