Official sources said two terrorists and a SF personnel were killed in Hill Tak area, Rajouri district, on January 13, in an operation launched to apprehend Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) local terrorist Tahir Billa. SFs, on specific information that Billa and his associates had taken shelter at a residence in Hill Tak, commenced a search operation. Even as they were surrounding the house, they were fired upon by the terrorists. In the ensuing encounter, two terrorists and a SF personnel were killed. Two AK rifles with some ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the encounter-site. The operation was continuing, when reports last came in.
