Separately, a group of suspected Maoists killed a Maoist cadre at Mangalbare village in the Ilam district. Further, suspected Maoists also reportedly killed the head of Madhesi Tigers, Ajay Yadav, and his close aide Raju Mishra. Their bodies were found on the banks of Bagmati River in Sarlahi district on April 25. Madhesi Tigers is a small armed outfit organised by former Maoist Ajay Yadav and was reportedly active in parts of the Terai region.
