Two Pakistani nationals were arrested from the Jalandhar district in Punjab on November 10 along with sensitive documents pertaining to vital Army installations. After securing information from military intelligence, the district police arrested a Pakistani while he was moving near the Military Hospital in Jalandhar Cantonment. He was identified as Khurram Shehzad Ali alias Junaid Alam, a resident of Okara in Pakistan, according to Senior Superintendent of Police Ishwar Singh. During preliminary interrogation, it was found that Khurram had come to India about six months back on the pretext of watching the India-Pakistan cricket series at Mohali and failed to return to his country. He was subsequently involved in gathering information of military importance and regarding vital installations, an official release said.
