On February 10, Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council chairman and Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) chief Subhas Ghising was seriously injured in an ambush laid on his convoy by unidentified gunmen near Kurseong, Siliguri, West Bengal.
