According to Kantipuronline, three more unidentified civilians were reportedly killed in mob violence at Kapilvastu and neighboring Rupandehi districts on September 17. The mob violence occurred when unidentified extremists killed the Chairman of the Democratic Madhesi Front, Mohit Khan on September16-morning. The Chief District Officer, Narendra Dahal, confirmed the deaths of five civilians.
