The two were arrested for their reported involvement in the recent attack on Nepali Congress leader and former minister Dilendra Badu in Latinath. Led by the Maoist district committee members, Daman Dhami and Kamala Panta, the insurgents hurled stones at the police post. Darchula Chief District Officer Yagya Raj Bohora said that the CPN-Maoist cadres barged into the kitchen, threw away all the food and looted the utensils.
