A Passerby noticed a suspicious packet in a drain near Radhamadhav temple in the Abhaynagar area and immediately alerted the police. On receiving the information, personnel of National Security Guard (NSG) and bomb squad have jointly rushed to the spot and defused the explosive device. A mobile phone battery and splinters were also recovered from the packet.
