Police on August 28 said two National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) linkmen, Joshua Ngobang and Samchang Wangsu, were arrested from a hotel in capital Itanagar on August 24, for trying to extort money from three politicians in Tirap District, according to Telegraph. The duo also extorted money from a Legislator belonging to the Congress party, Kamthok Lowang, and another politician from the District, Anok Wangsa of the Naga People''s Front.
