Four cadres of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were arrested on November 3 near a graveyard in the Madra Tekri locality of Jabalpur by personnel of the Madhya Pradesh (MP) Police, reports Indian Express. Among those arrested was Inamur Rehman, who is wanted by the Rajasthan Police since 2008. Inamul has been charged under Sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and is a suspected of being a member of banned organisations, in this case the Indian Mujahideen, the Inspector General of Police in Rajasthan, Alok Tripathi, said. The MP Police said they found incriminating documents in their possession. They were produced before a court in Jabalpur which remanded them in Police custody on November 4, adds Times of India.
