The deceased belonged to Medikurthi village in Chittoor district. Police recovered two 0.38 revolvers, three bullets, three tin bombs, a kit bag, four SIM cards from the encounter site. The Maoists opened fire at a Police party which was combing the area and Police returned fire in retaliation. Nagarajuna Reddy was killed while two others managed to escape, the Police said.
