Preliminary investigations have revealed that the LeT commanders based in Pakistan were planning to carry out anti-India activities through the Indians trained as terrorists on Pakistani soil, according to an official release of Criminal Investigation Department. The anti-India activities included bomb explosions, circulation of counterfeit Indian currency, smuggling of arms and ammunition, fuelling communal riots and violence in the country and also working to ensure release of Pakistani terrorists from Indian prisons.
