Cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) killed two persons in Jubaguda village under Kotagada Police Station in Kandhamal District late in the night of August 4 suspecting them to be Police informers, reports IBN Live. The victims were identified as Peter Mallick (38) and Sitaram Uthansingh. According to Police, a large number of armed Maoists, including women, stormed into the village and called out the duo from their houses. The duo was then killed on the outskirt of the village. While the body of Peter was found with his throat slit, that of Sitaram had gunshot mark.
