Zee News reports that four militants of Sikh separatist group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), arrested for planning to target religious figures, were on February 23 sentenced to imprisonment already undergone after they pleaded guilty for being member of the banned outfit. A session s court in Delhi convicted Kulwinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, Bikkar Singh and Surender Singh under various provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and the Arms Act. Jaswant Singh is a close associate of Jagtar Singh Hawara who, along with two others, was arrested in Punjab for the assassination of the then Chief Minister Beant Singh. All the four men were arrested by Special Cell of Delhi Police in year 2008 from Punjab and have been in custody since then. The names of the four had surfaced during police probe into June 2005 twin blasts at Liberty and Satyam Cinema halls here.
