In another incident, two cadres of Hizb-ut Tawhid (HT) were arrested from Akkelpur police station premises in Joypurhat District on June 5. The Police said two unidentified men entered Akkelpur PS and started explaining the role of HT organisation and criticising the government before the officer in-charge. Suspecting militants, the Police arrested them immediately and sent them to jail after interrogation. A number of Jihadi books, leaflets and mobile phones were seized from them.
