Elsewhere, a protester, identified as Majid, was allegedly shot and injured as the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) fired shots in the air during a protest by the residents of Bara Board in Pak Colony and Orangi Town against an operation by the LEAs in their area, reports The Express Tribune. Police and Rangers conducted a raid in Bara Board and arrested several suspects. Resultantly, at least three vehicles one owned by Ali Ahmed Shah, a Pakistan People s Party (PPP) leader, were torched by the mob protesting in Pak Colony. The police had arrested 14 suspects during a targeted raid in Pak Colony on July 26, 2012. The suspects relatives gathered near the Bara Board bus stop and staged a protest. They said that the Police had assured the suspects families that they would be released after questioning, but only four people were released.
