The Maoist joined the outfit four years ago and was treating cadres suffering from different diseases. He was also acting as the link between Panda and Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS) chief Nachika Linga. He was trained in a camp at Badabanga forest along Ganjam-Kandhamal border. Police, however, said he is not involved in any Maoist-related violence.
