According to Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) special branch, Israel Xuivi, based on specific information, personnel of special branch arrested him while he was about to dispose the fire arms. One 303 rifle MK3 (England made) and US carbine with two magazines were recovered from the possession of the arrested person, Israel said. The firearms were found concealed inside a car. Israel told Nagaland Post that the accused was planning to sell the fire arms for INR 400000. The arms were believed to have been purchased from Assam, he added.
