Tamil Nadu Police arrested two Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres from Dharmapuri District on June 14, report The Times of India. The two suspected Maoists, identified as S. Bharathi alias Ragini (42), and S. Durai Singavel (52), had escaped the Police during a 2002 anti-Maoist operation at Uthangarai in Dharmapuri. Acting on a tip-off, the Dharmapuri Police arrested the two in a house near Papparapatti. Police seized Maoist documents and pamphlets from them.
