Earlier, UP ATS busted an illegal arms racket in various states with the arrest of Mohammed Khaled, the alleged mastermind of the racket, in Lucknow on April 19. Officials said investigations revealed a multi-state network of supply of illegal arms. The ATS later arrested a Mumbai resident, Alwyn D sa, a retired flight engineer with Air India, for his involvement in the racket. It was during their interrogation that Jain s name cropped up.
