Meanwhile, Police unearthed an illegal mini-gun factory and recovered 51 guns from the forests of Deoghar District on August 31, reports The Times of India. The guns were in the process of being assembled at the factory in Kishanpur locality under Margomunda Police Station when Police raided the spot. Those engaged in assembling the guns fled on seeing the Police. No arrests have been made thus far. Though Deoghar is not a Maoist stronghold, it is suspected that the guns were meant to be supplied to the Maoists. The gun factory is situated on the borders of Deoghar, between Giridih and Jamtara Districts.
