The Patna Police on December 2 arrested two Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres from separate places under Sigori and Khiri Mor Police Station areas in Patna District, reports The Times of India. Police said an area commander of CPI-Maoist, Gurudev Yadav, was arrested in the raid conducted at a hideout near Kanhaura Mor of Hadinagar village. He was arrested with one country-made pistol and six live cartridges, he said. On his information, a zonal commander , Sunil Kahar, was arrested from Mungli Tola Ramruchavigha under Khiri Mor police station area. Both were wanted in several cases. Their arrest is a major breakthrough for the police. Their three associates, Yogendra Ravidas alias Lighter Ji, Dharmaveer alias Badal and Kamdev Paswan were arrested recently, said a Police officer.
