The abducted Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel are suspected to have been killed by cadres of the IK Songbijit faction of the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB-IKS). But their bodies have not yet been recovered and operations to locate them are still on, reports The Assam Tribune. Highly placed security sources told that the information available indicated that the abducted persons, Constables Nakul Medhi and Anil Kumar Yadav, who were members of the unarmed wing of the SSB, were killed. But no one can officially confirm their deaths till the bodies are recovered and operations in the area from where they were kidnapped are still on.
