The abducted trio are sarpanch of Temrupally panchayat Samara Chati, former sarpanch Neelakantha Majhi and samiti (block level local self-government institution member) Dasarathi Majhi. We have reports of the trio being taken by the Maoists, but we are yet to ascertain the reason behind it.
