Troops of 18 Sikhs 9 Sector AR launched an operation at Takyel area in Imphal West District on April 25 leading to the arrest of a Progressive faction of the People s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK-PRO) militant, identified as No 40922, 'SS Pvt', Yumnam Kanhai alias Kiran Kumar Meitei. One 9mm Colt Machine Gun (CMG) with magazine and five live rounds were also recovered from him.
