The terrorists also decamped with five .303 rifles and ammunition from the VDC members. Official sources said a group of five terrorists posing as police personnel descended on village Thilu Baggar and contacted seven VDC members for carrying out a 'search operation'. Even as the VDC members were accompanying the terrorists, three of them escaped while four others were killed by the terrorists. Security forces (SFs) have launched a search operation in Thilu Baggar forests to track down the terrorists involved in the incident. However, no arrests have been made thus far.
