Official sources in Poonch said a group of six terrorists, who were reportedly trying to escape back to Pakistan, were noticed by the SFs at Bandi Kamba Khan and the terrorists were engaged in an encounter. One was killed in the exchange of firing while five others escaped. The terrorists were reportedly affiliated to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) outfit. An AK-56 rifle and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the slain terrorist, a suspected Pakistani national.
