In another incident, SFs killed three terrorists during an encounter at Kikkar Morh, Chondpora, on the Budgam-Beerwah road. Official sources said SFs were enroute to a terrorist hideout for effecting recoveries when they were attacked at Kikkar Morh. In the ensuing encounter, two Pakistani terrorists and a local terrorist were killed. The slain terrorists had been arrested in August 2002 from Rajbagh and Rawalpora localities. Five AK-56 rifles, a wireless set and 16 grenades were recovered from the encounter-site.
