Commenting on the incident, Khunti Superintendent of Police (SP) M. Tamilvanan said, The rebel has been identified as 24-year-old Binda Pahan, who was wanted in two cases. As many as 15 rounds of ammunition have also been recovered. The Maoist was a close aide of notorious zonal commander Kundan Pahan, adds The Times of India.
